Through this campaign, calling on the Scottish Government to back wild salmon recovery, more than 8,000 letters of concern were sent to parliamentary candidates ahead of the Scottish Parliament election on 7 May 2026.
This is a pivotal moment in the fight to save our wild salmon. We will be watching closely to see how newly elected members respond to the urgent need to protect our freshwater environments and wild fish populations.
